Last April, 2011, HHI-EMD issued Service Letter, ¡°HHI-HSM-SL-11-009, Design Improvement of Fuel Injection Pump Delivery Valve for H25/33¡±. The main content was to introduce the improved delivery valve (Fig. 2) for increase of the nozzle life time by removal of secondary impulse of nozzle seat. To ensure the good injection condition, HHI-EMD supplied the new delivery valve to each vessel which had been applied with H25/33.

Field test results of the new delivery valve at 2000 R/H showed quite satisfactory as shown on the Fig. 3 & 4. Microscopic photo showed no cavitation marks on the seat/needle and the spray condition was quite close to new atomizer.

If the supplied delivery valve has not been installed in the fuel injection pump yet, please replace the old delivery valve with new one immediately. The replacement work can be simply done by the owner¡¯s personnel without difficulties referring to the instruction described in attached technical circular.
